Amelia Surf and Racquet Club is undergoing exterior renovations. Work on Building A is scheduled to run from December 2026 to May 2027. Work on Building B has begun and is expected to continue until February 22, 2027 (subject to weather delays). Impacts on Building A during Building B work are expected to be minimal, though some noise and equipment in the parking lot may be present. Guests will have access to plenty of parking.

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM

What to Expect During Your Stay:

  • Noise & Activity: The project includes exterior work, including concrete and stucco repair, breezeway and balcony waterproofing, guardrail removal and replacement, and stairwell improvements. Heavy equipment, power tools, concrete repair, dust, and debris may be present during working hours.
  • Balcony Access: Balconies may be unavailable during work on the A Building, and sliders/balcony doors will be boarded off for safety 
  • Amenities & Parking: Parking may be affected due to equipment staging. At least one pool is intended to remain open at all times, but full closures may occur without prior notice. 

We've reduced our rental rates to reflect these conditions.

The Beachcomber II condo is situated in the heart of Jax Beach! It eatures a private gated pool. It is conveniently located near numerous restaurants and shops, some of which are within walking distance. The condo has hardwood floors, stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and a washer/dryer. The breakfast table and island offer plenty of seating. There are two bedrooms, each furnished with a queen-sized bed, and two bathrooms, one with a soaker tub and the other with a full bath. However, it's important to note that the tub has no working jets and is not a Jacuzzi. The condo also offers high-speed internet, perfect for streaming, teleworking, and distance learning. There are smart TVs with soundbars in the living room and main bedroom. The condo is located on the third floor, and there is no elevator. There is a side balcony with an ocean view, and chairs are provided for relaxation. We also provide two beach chairs.

There are beautiful views from the balcony and deck. The first level offers a bedroom and bath, a spacious great room, a dining area, and a kitchen with a breakfast bar. The main living area includes comfy couches, a large HDTV, and access to an oceanfront deck for sunbathing. Set up your laptop and enjoy the free Wi-Fi. The full-size kitchen is stocked with cookware, dishes, utensils, and appliances large and small. It will be easy to cook up a delicious family meal. The Captain's House Beautiful and newly renovated oceanfront condo on Amelia Island's north end near Fort Clinch State Park and Fernandina Beach. The backyard is the beach! The front door is a few steps up, and everything is on one level inside. It has two bedrooms and two full baths: the primary with a new king mattress and en-suite, and the secondary with a queen and twin trundle. The views and proximity to the beach are fantastic.

Stroll the beach and look for sharks' teeth and seashells as you walk along the shoreline. When you return, rinse your feet in the conveniently located boardwalk shower. A full washer and dryer are available, along with an updated full kitchen. If you'd like to bring or rent a bike, bike racks are available out front. We provide two beach chairs, a beach umbrella, and beach towels. There are both standard and Keurig coffee makers.

There is a short walk to the beach with no roads to cross (see aerial photo). On the third floor, there is a spacious Main bedroom suite with a King bed and a private bath that includes a tiled shower and jetted tub. From the Main bedroom on the third floor, step out onto a private balcony overlooking the beautiful Atlantic!

The main floor has a full kitchen with plenty of seating for 12, access to a large porch, and another bedroom with a King bed and a private bath. The lower level includes a kitchenette plus three other bedrooms with plenty of sleeping spaces. Bedroom one has a full-size bed. Bedroom two also on the lower level has two full-sized beds and a twin. And finally, bedroom three on the lower level has two queen-sized beds. Bedroom two and on this level has an ensuite bathroom.

So, in summary, there are five bedrooms with the following beds two Kings, two queens, three fulls, and a twin. There is no pull-out sofa. We have a new sofa.

Step outside and follow the path to a semi-private pool or turn right for a short walk to the beach. Publix is conveniently located across the street for all of your grocery needs! Grab a snack or bottle of wine and enjoy them on one of the many decks.
